Issue with Scroll Wheel on Razer Viper V2 Pro – Glitching / Not Working Properly

Hello Razer Support,

 

I’m experiencing an issue with my Razer Viper V2 Pro mouse. The scroll wheel is acting erratically — it either doesn’t respond at all or scrolls in the wrong direction, and sometimes jumps randomly. The issue occurs both in wired and wireless modes.

 

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

 

Reinstalled Razer Synapse and updated firmware.

 

Switched USB ports and tried both wired and wireless connections.

 

Performed a factory reset on the mouse (holding LMB + RMB + scroll click while plugging in).

 

Tested the mouse on another computer – the issue persists.

 

Cleaned the scroll wheel area with compressed air.

 

Despite all of this, the scroll wheel still doesn’t function properly.

 

The mouse is still within the warranty period. I believe this might be a hardware issue with the scroll encoder, as I’ve seen other users report similar problems.

 

Please let me know how to proceed. I can provide photos, video proof, or the serial number if needed.
