Issues with 2 x Razer Raptor & Razer Thunderbolt 4 & lost cables | Razer Insider
Skip to main content

Hi All,

Currently running a setup with 2 Razer Raptors and the Thunderbolt Docking 4. I bought the one of the Raptors second hand but the monitor came without the cables. I cannot find any replacement set for the cables so I just connected both Raprots using USB-C (1 with original cable and one with a replacement cable)

The setup is working but the RGB leds on the monitor with the replacement cable are not working. Both monitors are detected by Synapse and I checked the linked configuration but the LED is not working.

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement set for the cables or does anyone know what USB-C cable I need to purchase to achive a working setup?

I now use a Gen2 USB-C cable (10GBps) 4k cable with 100w power but this is not working.

Thanks all!!

Hi, I am in a similar situation with 2 monitors and only one having the cables, I am in a different boat however with the fact I’m using the USB C inputs for my Mac mini and then the display ports for my PC. I ended up just using a Mac thunderbolt 4 cable as the replacement and even tested it with my PC and it works with no issues. Don’t just get a standard usb c. If you aren’t worried about the green flat razer cables for aesthetic then you can go with any thunderbolt 4 rated cable :)
