Issues with Razer Thresher and Xbox Series X
I'm using a pair of Thresher for Xbox (the standard wireless model, not the Ultimate one) with my new Xbox Series X and I'm having all sorts of problems.
First, I had the audio cracking/stuttering when the new controller was not in use.
This was solved with the late november console firmware update.
However, if I shutdown the console from the controller with the headset still connected, the console turns itself back on with the controller not responding.
The same happens if i switch off the headset before turning off the console.
The only way to turn off the console correctly is to: turn off the controller, turn off the headset, turn off the console from the front switch. However, the next time I turn on the console, the controller won't respond to inputs.
Meanwhile Razer still says the Thresher for Xbox headset is fully compatible with Series X | S
Other people using wireless headsets from other vendors have similar issues: some of them were fixed with headset updates from the vendor.
Anyone had similar problems or have any fix?
