Keyboard disconnection problem (blackwidow chroma) | Razer Insider

Hi!

I recently upgraded my computer. I now have a X570 aorus elite motherboard with a 5900x processor and HX 750i PSU. Works like a charm except one problem.

My Blackwidow chroma keyboard (Modelno: RZ03-0122) now intermittently disconnects. As if the USB plug is pulled out. It makes that sound in windows . Sometimes the keyboards light keep burning. Sometimes it is black. But it no longer accepts keyboard input. It is visible in device manager. But synapse seems to think there is no keyboard. An hour or so later I can reconnect it and it works fine for a few seconds. Than that sound again of USB disconnecting. And no more response from keyboard.

I have tried everything I could think of or find on the internet. It seems to be a common problem. Yet I have this keyboard for a while and never experienced these issues. I also have a razer deathadder v2 mouse and synapse 3.0.

I have tried

- Other USB ports.

- Exiting synapse

- Restart windows

- Disable USB power management in windows

Nothing seems to work. Is my keyboard suddenly broken?
That's a bummer. Do you see any physical deformation on the cable? Do you have any devices connected to the keyboard when the issue occurs? Try isolating the behavior by following the steps from this link. If that doesn't help, send me the serial number of your device via PM.
