Kiyo Firmware Updater Not Detecting

I recently purchased a razer kiyo pro, and in razer synapse it says I have a firmware update. I click the link it provides, which leads to a page that says to ask support. I went and found the firmware updater, but when I opened it and it did not detect my kiyo pro. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in but still did not detect it, however the synapse app does detect it.
