Kiyo light ring only partially lit

After about a half hour of using the Kiyo, while I was configuring my recording software to access the camera, the bottom half of the light ring turned off, and I wasn't get it to come back on. Adjusting the brightness still affected the half of the ring that's on, but wouldn't turn the dimmed lights back on. I thought maybe the software had changed something, but I don't think so, as shutting down my video software didn't fix the issue. I had to turn off the camera, wait for a while (5-10 minutes), and then when I activated the camera again, the full light ring was active again. Is there a way to prevent the ring from turning off half the LEDs after a short period? I'm anticipating recording longer video recordings, and not having to take such frequent breaks to allow the lights to activate again would be ideal. Thanks!
