My headphones work only with "Razer Kraken Ultimate" playback device selected. Whenever I set it to THX Spatial, audio simply does not play. Enabling/Disabling THX via button on the headphones still does nothing. Furthermore, none of the EQ settings are working neither, I can manipulate them freely without any change in the audio whatsoever.

Did you check if the THX Spatial audio is toggled on? Try to repair the Synapse application by following the steps here. If that didn't help, PM me the serial number of your headset so I can validate its model specifications and look for other steps to help you resolve the THX issue.
