Kraken v2 mic randomly goes distorted and extremely loud

so it randomly ear rapes everyone it does it once every couple of days as well as cutting out the mic which happens way more frequently. The only way to fix this is to unplug the mic and plug it back in. I've tried:
  • usb ports
  • reinstalling drivers
