Kraken x Mic only making hissing/buzzing noise. Not picking up my voice

Every since i got my kraken x the mic worked fine. After a month the mic just stopped working and it's just making static noises. I had this problem for a few months. The mic rarely properly works (which happened 2 times). Im very frustrated. Anyone got a solution?

    Hi there! Sorry to hear about your Razer Kraken X's microphone concern. Have you tried to connect the headset to another port or device? If you are using a laptop with a 3.5 audio/mic combo port, bypass the splitter extension cable and check if the mic works. If it is a desktop PC with a separate audio and mic port, please use the splitter and refer to the screenshot below:
