Kraken X USB 7.1 Surround Sound doesn't want to work.

I have just purchased my first Razer product, a Kraken X USB headset, and I wanted to try out the 7.1 Surround Sound, and I've been trying for half an hour but sadly nothing worked. My 7.1 Surround output is set as the default one, I have no spatial sounds on, I even restarted the computer and the app twice, the headset work very well without it. And despite all of that the 7.1 Surround Sound App keeps telling me that my device isn't set as default. I even went as far as to restarting the Rz services. The version of the app is the latest one, 1.1.75 and I tried checking for updates twice and said it was alright. I'd be glad if you could help me as to what to do. -Ivy
