Kraken X v4 USBC - Mic Monitoring Not Working (Windows 11)

My Kraken X V4 arrived today, and the headset and microphone are working fine. I cannot, however, get side tone (mic monitoring) to work at all. I’ve installed the latest version of Synapse, and have enabled “Mic Monitoring” on the “Mic” tab, but I cannot hear myself talking, no matter what I try.

Is my headset faulty, or are there additional steps required to get this working?

Hearing my muffled voice through the headset ear cups is really off putting, so I need to have my voice fed through to the headset.
