Laptop is powered on but the display is dead. | Razer Insider

Okay so this is kind of tricky. I bought a new Razer Blade 17 with the i9 processor and the 3070 TI. After setting it all up and transferring data, whenever my laptop goes to sleep, it turns back on but the laptop display is now black and my computer doesn’t recognize the main laptop display as a display at all. I can only see the display on my monitor. Disabling and re-enabling the intel display driver always brings the display back on my laptop screen but I have to do it every time my computer wakes up. (This method doesn’t work unless I’m connected to my  monitor.) It's weird after a while the display driver just seems to degrade and stop working, it starts flickering and I don’t know what’s causing it. Everything is updated. I used DDU in safemode to ensure everything was set up properly and cleanly, still not working. At first I wasn’t super frustrated but now it’s getting on my nerves. It’s a brand new laptop worth 3 thousand dollars I shouldn’t be running into these problems.

Hi jonahdae,

I understand that the internal display on your Razer Blade 17 laptop is not waking up correctly after sleep. While a temporary fix exists, the underlying issue persists. Please try to perform the steps in this article and if the steps didn’t help, PM me the following information below so I can initiate a case on your behalf and escalate this to our Laptop Support Team.
