Latest Razer Synapse update renders Huntsman V2 useless

After the latest update I cannot use my Razer Huntsman V2 Analog any more as soon as Razer Synapse is loaded. It does not react on any input, it is completely dead.
As soon as I manually (thankfully the mouse is still working) deactivate Razer Synapse the keyboard is responsive again. I already performed the clean install according to Razers advice to no avail, the keyboard is completely dead as soon as Synapse is running. I checked all the Razer services via task manager, they are all running. I checked the Windows Event Log, everything is fine. I checked windows update, but there are none available.
So apparently this issue is caused entirely on your side, because I cannot do anything more, despite deinstalling Synapse and loosing out on many functions I bought this expensive premium piece of hardware. I am a long term user of Razer products, but to be honest, if you don't get that fixed soon, the Huntsman V2 Analog was my last Razer product.

hi yes, after update i have problems too. for example my game mod is broken and I can press the windows key when game mode is on. and I am now having a lot of problems with automatic profile changing in games. sometimes it seems completely broken. i alreadye tried many times reinstall synapse, delete drivers and etc. nothing help and synapse seems very unstable.
Hi again,
yesterday the Huntsman V2 stopped working even without Synapse being installed. Now I was really baffled. Something else seemed to go on. My Huntsman is connected via USB3.1-C (I only have one), so I figured, maybe there is an issue with the USB port. I disconnected and reconnected the Hunstman before when there was an issue, but I thought the USB port cannot be part of this as exiting Synapse fixed the issue. However, as it now stopped working even without Synapse being installed, I dug out the USB-C to A connector and used a free USB3.0 port to reconnect it. And to my surprise, it started working again.
Then I got bold and reinstalled Synapse 3, rebooted and the Huntsman still worked. Then, as a last step I reconnected the Huntsman without the USB-C to A connector again at the one USB3.1-C port from before, rebooted and it still worked! Disconnecting and reconnecting before the intermediate connection to the USB-A port however did not solve the issue at all.
I do not know what is going on here, but it seems there was some hiccup between Synapse 3 right after the update and my USB3.1 connector. I've no clue how this happened, maybe Windows sneaked a silent update in I wasn't aware of or the keyboard driver, Synapse and the USB drivers got stuck somehow.

I have to apologize for my first post. Maybe I was a bit harsh, as I now realize that my USB connection played a part in this drama too. However, I am still pretty sure that the update of Synapse caused the issue unless it was a very unfortunate coincidence.

Nevertheless, I hope it keeps on working now 😉
