Line of black pixels on Blade 15

Hi guys,

I have been using a Blade 15 (Mid 2019 model) for almost a year now. Not a long ago, a line of black pixels appeared on the screen. The line is one pixel wide, I think. Is it possible that they are dead pixels, and in that case, what can be done?

*I tried to upload a photo, but for some reason, it didn't work*

Thanks in advance! 🙂

Have you tried clean installing the GPU drivers? If you haven't yet, I highly recommend using DDU(third-party app) to remove the drivers that you currently have. If you have photos detailing the issue, please upload them on GDrive or Dropbox so we can better understand the severity of the display issue.

Ok, so I tried both methods but the problem is still present. The line is still pretty visible when the screen is colorful, with the most noticeable color being green. Also, the line started flickering from time to time after I tried all of the tips. It is not permanently flickering, though.

I tried to capture the line. The quality is far from perfect but it should give a better idea of what I'm talking about.

If reinstalling GPU drivers didn't help, there is a good chance that you'll have to send the laptop in for repair. But before we go that route, PM me the serial number so I can look into other possible model-specific solutions.
