Low FPS / Lag with my Razer Blade 15 (2018) 1070 MaxQ
Hi Forum,
I couldn't find any answers to this so I ask here. My Razer Blade 15 (2018) with a 1070 MaxQ has some issues. For about a year now the performance gets worse. At the beginnjng I could run Triple A games like AC Origins and Odyssey or Forza Horizon 4 without much problem on a stable frame rate. But now I can't even run GTA 5 on normal settings lag free. I can't understand how a 2500$ laptop from 2018 can't run games from 2015 acceptable.
Windows 10 and the Nvidia Driver are up to date. I also use GeForce Experience to "optimize" my games games but that sets it always on high quality which doesn't work anymore.
Any ideas or suggestions on how to fix this. I also made a system reboot already but that didn't help either. Thanks.

You may want to check the thermal paste if it’s already dried out or not. In 2 years flag depends on use case thermal compound might dry out and can’t cool the system properly resulting thermal throttling which’s mostly the culprit from lag on gaming, especially on those cpu intensive titles. Don’t under estimate old titles like GTAV, since it’s open world there’s a lot things to render that push the cpu to its limit.
