Lycosa profile key stopped working when system upgraded to Windows 10

Was on Win 7 and using Synapse 2.x (unsure exactly which version) with my Lycosa keyboard until this month and switching profiles worked fine with Profile Key + F1, etc. Had to upgrade to Win 10; installed Synapse 2.21 (verified it as most recent): profiles and macros are present when I log in and the shortcut keys are mapped. I can switch profiles using the dropdown in the Synapse software and all macros/etc are working as expected, but Profile Key + Fx does not switch profile. Instead programs act as if I pressed just the Function key alone, e.g. Profile Key + F1 launches help files. Any suggestions?
