Macro not recording while ingame | Razer Insider

Hey, I recently purchased from amazon the mamba wireless after a friend recommended me.

We are both playing online games (maplestory & more..).I downloaded synapse 3 and I assigned a recording key to my keyboard but for some reason when im ingame the record doesnt work - only when im with the synapse launched as my main application. On the other hand, my friend is enjoying full recording options while being online. Please help me fix this problem - I tried redownloading & making a new account but no success. Thank you!
