Macro recording switching key values.

I am trying to record a macro which is a simple series of keystrokes.

I won’t obviously show the actual keystrokes, for security reasons, but, in short, whenever I use the # key, although it shows it as the # key whilst recording, as soon as I click Stop Record, it switches that keys value, and only this keys value, to a 3 (for both DOWN and UP).

So what should be jkl;’#, as it shows when it’s recording, actually saves as jkl;’3.

I’ve checked my keyboard mapping, reset the keyboard and my profile and even reinstalled Synapse (I’m using Synapse 4 BTW).

It’s annoying, as I use this key extensively, hence the reason for a series of macros, but if it’s going to change the # to a 3, then the current macro module is totally useless to me.

Any suggestions ( ### please ### → 333 please 333)?
