malfunctioning headsets


I'll tell my story. I was just playing and randomly this day my headset wasn't working properly, out of nowhere, the day before it worked perfectly fine. Firstly the malfunctioning problem was that one side wasn't working so I re-plugged the connector and it worked somehow. Then after a while when I turned on my laptop, my 7.1 software wasn't working anymore and it couldn't recognize the device, so I switched it to realtek device and sound was working fine but not as good as 7.1 but now it doesn't work at all including microphone on my headset. I tried to reset computer with zero success I tried to choose the other audio output/input option and also nothing So right now I don't know what to do, when I unplug it and then plug it in, it recognizes that something was connected but it does completely nothing Thank you in advance for help :)

It's alright but the 7.1 isn't working still

Try updating your Windows OS and updating the audio driver of your PC. If that didn't work, proceed by clean installing the Razer 7.1 surround sound application.
