Microphone only heard in mic monitoring/sidetone


I was in a Discord call, and out of nowhere, the mic on my Kraken X stopped working. I reinstalled drivers, and changed all the mic settings on Discord and other apps. Nothing has worked. The microphone ONLY works in the mic monitoring / sidetone testing within Razer Synapse, where I can hear the microphone input. For this reason, I believe it is a software issue.

Same problem here. Actually if you hold mic right next to your mouth (basically in your mouth) :big_grin_: then you can hear yourself. But even then... Barely... If mic is in normal position, it's not picking up. Looks like mic is not sensitive enough. Although other players can hear me. So it seems like the mic itself if fine but there is something wrong with mic Monitoring (sidetone)... :frown_: And to all those who gonna say "Increase mic sensitivity" - Everything is set to the max. Mic volume, mic sensitivity, etc...

I have had the issue with sidetone on my nari for a year now with a year's worth of back and forth email trails. I probably sent them my config about 7 times. It only works if you max out the volume on headset. They broke it after a synapse update. Wish I still had that old version. Razer support is either unwilling or unable to fix their software. Seeing more and more people have issues with it you would think they would try and fix it or recreate the issue. But they already sold the product so why would they care. Razer support is one of the worst in the industry. Won't buy again.

I have the same issues, tried two different V2 pros and the issue is the same. Also I have tried all different "solutions" they providen on the chat with no luck. On the other hand the wired V2 works just loud and clear. So the problem is not the hardware but the synapse software sidetone feature which could be fixed with a software update. I will be returng all of them if they cant fix it
