Hello,

I would like to know if it’s possible to enable scrolling with the middle button on Ubuntu with a Deathadder V2.

Thank you

I found it, it’s an option on the browser, disabled by default on Firefox:

Settings ➜ General ➜ Browsing ➜ "Use autoscrolling".

Thanks @FiszPL

Yes, why not?

For Ubuntu and other linux distros there is open project called openRazer: https://openrazer.github.io/ so you can configure some settings.

As far as I have seen, its apps only allow to change  colors, brightness and DPIs

Yes, but scrolling with the middle button should be a standard function, that does not require any reconfiguration.

sorry, maybe I did not express myself clearly enough. I don’t want to use the mouse wheel to scroll, I want to press the middle button and enable the functionality of moving the mouse up and down to scroll in that direction. Right now middle button is only usable for opening links on new tabs.

You want this functionality (scroll click - enables way to scroll up and down via cursor):

This functionality is standard one, you’ll just need to click on an empty area or text that is not a hyperlink (because if you click on hyperlink with middle button, it’ll just open a new tab).

On Firefox & Chrome Windows it does work properly (see right side of the screenshot), but it doesn’t on Firefox or Chrome on Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS. Setup is exactly the same, I have dual boot.
