Mouse Dock Pro disconnects on every startup

Hello,

I have been experiencing a recurring issue with my Mouse Dock Pro. Every time I start or restart my computer, the dock is not recognized and appears disconnected. The only way to make it work is to physically unplug the USB cable from the computer and reconnect it. Once reconnected, the dock is detected under USB devices and works normally.

My setup:

  • Windows 11 Home

  • Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K

  • Razer Synapse 4

  • All drivers and firmware updated to the latest versions

This behavior occurs consistently on every boot and is quite frustrating, as it requires me to manually reconnect the device each time.

Could you please assist me in resolving this issue?

Thank you in advance for your support.

P.S.: I have attached a screenshot from Device Manager showing the situation after startup. Reconnecting the dock temporarily fixes the problem. Please note that I have also formatted the system, but the issue still persists.

Hello I am having the same issue and have tried the following.

Clean install of both Synapse 3 and 4

Clean install of windows 11

Update firmware, drivers windows, etc.

I have just tried setting XHCI to disabled and legacy usb to auto in my bios which seems to have worked for the time being

I am having this issue as well. I have tried a clean install of Synapse, a clean install of Windows 11, I tried updating drivers, firmware, etc.

1 month ago, a thread that had been following this exact same issue for over 2 years was randomly locked by a mod. Tip: Don’t lock threads when the problem is not solved. That is basic support 101.

Yes, having same issue.  Returned first dock and got replacement from Amazon and 2nd dock is doing the same.  Seen someone say it’s related to MSI motherboards which I have.  Razer were going to RMA the first unit for a hardware related fault after troubleshooting but this is looking like a software related issue.

Looking in device manager I have the same errors as OP above.

Done a clean windows install, driver update and everything else support suggested.  Kind of a key feature of the dock is connecting wirelessly and it can’t even do that on a restart.

what I did was went into services in windows and turned all the razer and radio services to automatic instead of manual, seems to do the trick.

What I did was return the dock to Amazon.  You shouldn't have to be messing around like this on an £80 product.

I hope you're solution works but it will probably happen again.  It's not a permanent solution.

Sorry it didn't work for you bud. It's crazy to me that this has not been addressed.  Are you running an MSI motherboard too?  If so I would probably just move on from this item and return.

When I contacted Razer support they were going to RMA it for a hardware defect when the issue seems clearly to be software.

I ended off just using a charging pad for my Basilisk
