mouse's light randomly blinking

hi guys about a month ago i bought the razer mamba elite wired but i recently noticed that a random light start blinking at the edges and sometimes at the scrolling wheel too. my light settings are always off that's why i was able to notice the blinking. i stay most of my time on my pc and this problem happens twice a day and on top of that i can't chage dpi with m4 and m5 anymore although they still work perfectly, now i always have to open synapse if i wanna change dpi. The light blinks on the left side of the mouse right above m4 and m5 i dont know if it indicates the mulfunction of the dpi settings. Thank you!
