My Apex Won't Stop Running Ind Is Restricting My RGB Lighting Control

Whenever i try to change my chroma profile or switch it, once going into the menu it prompts me with a pop-up saying "r5apex.exe is currently controlling your keyboard's lighting" and it prompts me with a link to manage the chroma settings of linked games, but once clicked on the link leads nowhere. My lighting is currently frozen on the apex menu lighting and doesn't even animate. I uninstalled my Apex Legends chroma extension but it didn't work. Help appreciated.
