I have been using my Razer Blade 15 2019 Advanced Model RTX2070 Max-Q for about 6 months now without a battery. The previous one bloated to the extent where I cannot even push my spacebar so I removed it and threw it away.
I have been using this same laptop since 2019 October. My charger (it is my second charger, I got a replacement from Razer last year) is working fine and I can use it fine.
So I bought a battery today (RC30-0248) and when I first put it in it was working fine for about 30 mins at roughly 49% when it was first inserted. Then, out of the blue it became 0%.
And now my laptop is still showing 0% despite being plugged into power.
Previously when I was using the laptop without a battery, it showed "No Battery Inserted" so I figured this cannot be a connector issued. I unscrewed and re-screwed my laptop multiple times and the battery is properly connected to the motherboard.
What is wrong and how can I fix this? I read around online and it said to contact Razer for a BIOS update. Is that what would fix my laptop? Or is there anything else I can do?
Please help this is very urgent!
