My Deathadder V2 Pro is DEAD... and Razer laughed in my face!

"how my Deathadder v2 Pro died"


bought in August 2021... died/bricked almost exactly one year later

suddenly the mouse started connecting and disconnecting (dongle)... so I try using the cable but... same result... then try to use it bluetooth but it never fully connect

Drivers ok updated.
Synapse ok also Updated
Firmware.... mmmm 1.0 ... ok then let's try update this.

Process started but updated the first part (the firmware process seems to be a 2 part job)... so now the dongle is updated but the firmware ask me to connect the mouse with the cable so it can finish the job... I do this.. but this part of the process can never start because the mouse keeps connecting and disconnecting :(

try all this in 2 diferents computers ... and same result

so, end of stoy... mouse is bricked or dead...

I submitted a support case telling the full above story .... plus attaching the original invoice from the seller so they know the mouse was bought new and sealed.

BUT, and here is a big BUT... they LAUGHED AT ME

the answered was polite but the translation was like this: "oh sorry buddy but your mouse was bought from a not official seller so you are screwed"

I am totally amazed of the response I received.

I am a customer from years and years... I registered every peripheral I bought and they can see this in my profile... and I have even more peripherals that I forgot to register!!

This mouse was bought NEW and SEALED from a seller which gave me an original invoice... then after that I registered the mouse in your web and everything was correct so the mouse is ORIGINAL.

And now I receive a response that "you as a customer are fucked up because the mouse fail but the seller was not official??" WTF!!

The mouse is GENUINE 100%... and you decide to fuck me over just because the seller is not official?!

Mouse was Sealed and New? YES
Do you have an Original Invoice from the seller? YES
Did you register the Mouse so we can know it is Original? YES

It does not matter if the seller is Official or not... the mouse was NEW AND SEALED... and was REGISTERED AS ORIGINAL!!!

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED HERE TO HELP ME.. PLEASE!
I am crying in rage as I write this...

I even bought the dock charger back then to use it with the mouse... and now this dock is also "dead and lonely" because I can not use it unless I have a V2 or similar

After so many years and years of trust and...
THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS RAZER?!

This how things works (especially in EU). If you bought it from "3rd party seller", shop etc - RMA it in the place you've bought it.
