My headset cuts out randomly (help)

Hello! I bought a Razer Electra V2 USB three days ago and face problems since then. The only problem is that my headset cuts out randomly after every 2-3 hours of usage, I can't hear a single sound, wether be my friends, music, or the game I would be playing, absolutely nothing, my microphone stops working at the same time, my friends cannot hear anything I say. Only way to solve this is to either plug my headset in and out (which makes my game extremely quiet until I close it) or completely restart my PC. Technically wise I have set my Razer headset to default in the control panel settings for in & output, my headset is also connected to Synapse 2.0 and volume settings should be fine there (Synapse 3 didn't even detect my headset). This issue has caused a lot of troubles and I'm deeply disappointed. I cannot return this product due to hygiene purposes since I've put it on my ears for long periods of times.
