My Razer Headset and Keyboard won't light up

So, I just purchased the Razer Huntsman quartz last week and it just arrived today. I was able to successfully set it up and customize the lighting. The only issue I am having right now is the fact that when i plug in my Razer Kraken headset, the keyboard AND the headset both stops lighting up. I'm not sure if it's just my laptop (it's brand new Asus Rog laptop that i purchased in May of this year) or I need to fix synapse, but please help! Get back to me when you can!!
