naga hex v1 bindings not working.

i have a naga hex that seems to work just fine when on my desktop, but when i try to use it on my laptop the thumb buttons behave as if the shift button is being pressed. i updated the drivers, cleaned everything, tried it in different ports, and made sure sticky keys are off but no luck so far.
