Naga Pro battery life when NOT being used

I just got a Naga Pro. After a little fiddling to get the #1 (of 12) button working, the mouse charged up fine. It was near 100% when I set it aside for 2-4 days with no activity. Now it's reporting low on battery. I did NOT turn it off, but I did set it to go dark after 5 minutes of inactivity. Normally, I would put the mouse on the charger stand, but I'd still like to know: Is is Naga's expectation that I will turn off the mouse every time I set it aside that it isn't actually on the charger? I haven't had to do that with my other wireless mice - no activity, very little battery drain. Thanks!

The mouse's battery life will last up to 150 hours on Bluetooth and up to 100 hours on Razer™ HyperSpeed Wireless. The sleep mode will be enabled if it's idle so there's no need to turn it off.
