Naga Trinity - Side panel buttons and all lights stop working while in game.

Sometimes they will be off for only a few seconds, sometimes I have to restart the computer to get them to start working again. I only have 1 profile. It happens when I'm using the buttons on the left side pad. The buttons have not been changed, they are still mapped to the keyboard keys 1-7. I use them, and sometimes have the shift key down while I'm using them, or the right mouse button held down (for strafing). I have tested, and there is not particular key/button that causes this. One time I noticed it happened when I hit the 7 key on the side of the mouse. One time it happened when I was holding shift on the keyboard and hit the 1 key on the side of the mouse. (Edit: This does not just happen in-game. It happened while I was test typing in Notepad. Hitting side buttons and keystrokes just like I would in game. Again, no particular key, just random.) (Edit 2: Pulling the side panel off, and putting it back on always makes it start working again. Is this just a design flaw?) I have found no key/mouse combination that will turn it back on. I hope it's a simple fix, I really don't want to have to return this mouse :) My last mouse was a Razer Naga Hex V2, with 7 side buttons, and I never had this issue.
