Nari Ultimate Mic Issues

So with my new Nari Ultimate I was testing out the mic for it and whenever I used the test function on Synapse and even on Discord, the quality sounds perfectly fine but when I stop the test and try talking to friends in a voice channel, they're telling me I sound super robotic and broken up. Someone please help. I really want to be able to use my headset mic instead of my yeti for a while.
