Nari Ultimate not working (not charging or even lighting up)

I bought a pair of Razer Nari Ultimates for my birthday and they worked fantastically until I brought them with me in my backpack. I had brought them places multiple times before but this time when I took them out of the bag they didn't even turn on. I assumed they were dead so I tried to charge them and then I noticed that the charging indicator turned on i have no idea what could have done this.
