New Blade 14 - Impossible to put laptop to sleep

Brand new 2022 Blade 14. Everything works well, but closing the lid results in a breathing green light on the front side, not the white light indicating the machine is sleeping. Neither closing the lid nor clicking the sleep button in Windows will result in sleep. The screen will turn black, but the light on the front starts to pulse green, and the laptop remains warm. Very strange, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
