Hi,
I have purchased a new Razer Blade Advanced 2019 about two weeks ago. I have trouble with the GPUs from the beginning. Several times while in game, the game froze, focus switched to desktop and the game turned black. I could easily relate this to error messages in the system log: Display driver igfx stopped responding and has successfully recovered.
I did some googling and did the following:
- Windows 10 Updates
- NVIVIA drivers update
- Intel drivers update
- set the NVIDIA Settings to alyways use NVIDIA as a default
The problem disappeared for a few days. Then exactly the same happened again. So I finally disabled the Intel GPU. Everything worked smoothly.
Then today, I try to launch a game and it takes ages to start, the animations are clunky and slow. I check: NVIDIA GPU usage in task manager : 0%, CPU usage 100%. The whole game is running on my CPU without any GPU whatsoever? I click the NVIDIA control panel, which tells me the system is not connected to any NVIDIA GPU. Opening Device Manager, I can see, that I have to display adapters: Intel (disabled) and NVIDIA enabled and "working without issues". NOT TRUE!
Restart does not fix the problem.
So, should I just send the notebook back? I don't want to spend ages to repair a very expensive gaming notebook. I just want to use it for gaming.
Thanks!

I've been having this issue but only when i connect it to a Core X. I had to download the drivers and install them manually by picking which driver to install by not letting windows install it to get it working properly.
