No Charge w/ USB-C/USB-C Cables | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
Hello, I have a Razer Phone 2 using a USB-C/USB-C charger, which came with the phone and has been working for the years that I've had the phone. About a month ago it for some reason stopped working, in the sense that it will flicker between charging and not charging, but mainly will not. Position its in does not matter. I've bought a new wall brick, tried several different sockets, bought a new cable, none of them work. I connect my phone to a USB-C/USB-A charger and it works perfectly. No issues whatsoever, so this tells me that its not a problem with the USB-C end not sitting properly in the phone's port, but I am out of solutions.

Ive tried 4 different cables. Theyre all name brand ones as well so they arnt cheap >$5 cables, Samsung, Razer, Anker, so on. Ive tried plugging them all into the new brick and the old brick, all give the same results. Ive also tried plugging them into my PC to no avail.

These other chargers work fine with other phones as well
Which USB-C/USB-A made the phone charging? Have you tried connecting the cable from that "working charger" to your Razer Phone 2's original quick charge/brick and checked if the phone is charging? Please perform the steps from this link and see if it helps. Should the issue persist, please send me a PM. I'll be locking this thread now.
