I have been using surround sound 7.1 for a while now and 2 days ago it mysteriously stopped working. Whenever i set the 7.1 speaker as default device, the sound stops completely. I have to switch to my headphones as default output for the sound to play.
I tried turning on and off the surround sound option in the app but it didnt change anything. Switching to 7.1 just shuts it off. I removed a few windows updates which came in a few days back but that didnt change anything either. Does anyone have any solutions that may help??
