Nostromo and Windws 11

Hi, How are you doing today?   I have an old game controller Nostromo, I was wondering if that would work with Windows 11?

 

It worked on Window 10 playing COD,   Just wondering about Win 11.

    I’m curious myself. Have you found anything on this yet? I attempted to download synapse 2 or legacy but it corrupted my computer and I had to factory reset.

    Add me to this list. I would happily move to the Tartarus and bypass this entire software issue but the sad truth is the Tartarus isn’t made the same way and the Dpad they use in manufacturing will break. Not possibly break, it will definitely break after use.  Ask any Nostromo/Tartarus user who uses the Dpad for movement. I play 20 hours a week easy. Have for the last 20 years through work and just casual enjoyment. I have my 3 original Nostromos working with Synapse 2. I have gone through 4, count them… FOUR Tartarus devices and all of them had their Dpad crap out within a year, most within 6 months. So I am left with this… a Razer Nostromo that still works fine, but the Synapse 2.0 software not making the leap to Windows 11. I can remember Raze talking about Synapse 3 adding the Nostromo but obviously that never happened and we are now on Synapse 4. This device is my last reason to buy from Razer and honestly, that reason is dying literally in front of me. No options are tenable, either stick with Synapse 2 and Windows 10 or move completely away from the device that I have gamed with since the Belkin speedpad n50. I have had every version of this device and the Tartarus versions are not comparable and fail in every significant way. From wonky software to failing hardware.

    Here is what you guys do to get it to work on WIN11 , download the ISO from https://archive.org/details/NostromoV30b use Breezip to open it, copy all those filez to your desktop into nostromo folder,, open the folder,   scroll down to where you find setup, right click on that setup slick show more options click on properties, click on compatibility tab at the top,  select Run This probram in combatibility mode for windows 8, down at the bottom click on run this program as an administrator. After that it will install perfectly, go to where it installed nostromo editor, and select that select copy, go to your desktop right click and select copy as shortcut, and walla.
