not receiving otp on my razer gold

same here the otp code is not working regardless if it just normal sms i know the whatsapp is not working really well right now but the normal sms is not working either

I submitted a ticket to razer support to reset my 2fa. A day after, they reset my 2fa, and they recommended to use authenticator apps like google authenticator/authy. It works now in my case. I hope this helps.

What is 2fa? Is it the back up password? How did you request for a reset? Sorry noob. Thanks in advance

2fa or two-factor authentication is just a security measure. Examples are authenticator apps(google authenticator) or biometrics(fingerprint). 

To request a reset for 2fa, I logged in my razer gold account -> submit ticket -> nature of request is razer gold -> type of request is 2-step authentication -> 2FA reset. After that is wait for their support agent, then follow their instruction.

Lastly you mean a back up code will reveal at authenticator? That will be use at 2 step verification instead of phone number? Thanks 

Authenticators will always have code, and they change periodically. Backup codes, however, is fixed, and you can use them when your authenticator is not available, but you can only use 10 codes in this case.

Just make sure to save those backup codes when you got them, and keep them safe. Authenticator codes are not that different from the backup code, but you can use them both for verification instead of phone number.

Every time I tried to access two factor Authentication settings on my profile to set up the authenticator app it ask for my sms otp, how did you bypass this issue?

I was able to change my 2FA, thanks to Razer Support. I encountered the problem last Friday. I was a bit frustrated, but since I submitted a ticket at the end of the day I knew I had to wait. Everyone waiting, I hope each one of you gets your problem solved.

I've been suffering this for a month. I cannot use my gold coins because it needs authentication but I reset my device so I forgot to save my backup codes, and right now I still can't receive otp from this site. Please fix this matter. I'm already annoyed everytime I remember this.

I can't ricieve 2 step authentication code I'm still using my old sim I didn't change it whats the problem here my internet connection was to good I try it 20 times but it still didn't work please fix this issue
