Hi,
I am having an issue with my (new) Razer Blade. I have had it for two months now and having been using both the integrated and Nvidia GPUs with no problem until just now.
I had a bsod error and since then I have not been able to use my Nvidia GPU.
I tried to open Nvidia control panel and got the following message "Nvidia display settings are not available. An Nvidia graphics card was not detected in your system"
I looked online and found that this could be a driver issue so I went into device manager and found my Nvidia GPU. It was listed as a hidden device and in its properties it had the following message "Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)".
I tried automatically updating the driver, but it said it was up to date. I then tried uninstalling the device from device manager (removing the driver) and manually reinstalling by downloading the file from the nvidia website. I was careful to choose the correct driver, but when I did this I got an error message from the nvidia driver installer saying that "The graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware". I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling nvidia control panel which had no effect.
I then used system restore to see if this would help - My Nvidia GPU is back (as a hidden device) in Device Manager but still has the error message "Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)" and when I start nvidia control panel I still get "Nvidia display settings are not available. An Nvidia graphics card was not detected in your system"
All advice is very much appreciated

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but errors like that are typically hardware-related. You can try reset the laptop to factory settings. Let me know if that doesn't help so I can submit a repair ticket on your behalf.
