Ouroboros dock led not blinking for pairing

Ouroboros was working wired and wireless. Didn't use PC for a some time. Switched it on and now it does not want to work in wireless mode. Press button on charging dock, led doesn't want to blink (mouse blinks) for pairing. Shows Razer Bootloader in Device Manager. Tried it on 2 other PC's with same results. Thanks

Hi byteAeroBlueclub820! It appears you've got yourself one of our earlier Razer products. However, having a Bootloader in Device Manager indicates that a device is bricked. When did the issue start? Are there updates or procedures that have been applied to the mouse? Please uninstall the Bootloader driver in the Device Manager then restart your computer and see if it helps.

I normally have Synapse in off-line mode. Every 6 months or so I do updates. It started about a year back. I finally got tired of wired mode. It says Unknown Device, when I update the drivers, it goes back to Razer Bootloader. Isn't there a way to force a firmware update on the receiver alone? Thanks

Thanks for letting me know. Does the mouse still operate when it is in wired mode? Please connect the mouse using the USB connection cable then go to device manager and check the Razer Ouroboros driver on other sub-categories such as; Human Interface Devices, Mice and Pointing devices, Keyboards, and Universal Serial Bus controllers. If it is still giving Razer Bootloader, please uninstall/remove and restart your PC and check if Windows will reinstall a generic driver for your mouse.

Yes, I did all that, and did it again. Everything works, excepts wireless mode. The problem isn't the mouse, but the dock with its separate drivers and firmware. Synapse keep on installing razer bootloader drivers for the dock, instead of the Razer Ouroboros Gaming Dock. Thanks.

Sorry for the inconvenience. However, it seems that the Razer Ouroboros dock is bricked. Please send me PM together with the device's serial number. Let's continue from there.
