Overheat while asleep (lid closed) for 15" blade

I closed the lid with no apps running and found that a couple hours later the temperature of the laptop exterior was very high! the fans themselves seem to shutdown when the lid closes as well which may be problematic. I also want to know if there is an easy way to clean/replace fans or if i should send in for repairs? Pretty sure im still on warranty.

    There is a good chance that the laptop isn't properly hibernating/sleeping when the lid is closed. Please send me the serial number so I can look into possible BIOS and firmware-related solutions. Let's go from there. *Thread locked to curb the conversation to PMs.
