Power Point recording issues

I seem to be able to use my headset fine in programs like Dragon and using it to communicate with others. However, whenever I try recording with PowerPoint i keep getting a message that says Your recording device (Razer Blackshark) is not set up correctly or is being used by another device. I’ve checked for software updates. Restarted my computer. Nothing seems to help. If anyone has run into this and knows what to do please let me know. thanks
