Power problems....


My port no longer works for charging and the battery only lasts half a day.
Are these things that I can get repaired?
I love this phone.

Hi there! Thanks for posting your Razer Phone's concern here. When did the issue start? Are you using the charging cable that came with the Razer Phone? Have you tried connecting the cable and quick charger to a different device with USB-C and check if it's charging? Let's isolate the problem first by clicking this link. Hope it helps.

As one of Mobile Phone Technician. I did can help you a bit.
First, Is it your port were suddenly not working? or it were give a symptom of connecting and disconnecting for a long time ago?
If it already given a symptom earlier, so it might be your charging port is broken (SOLUTION: 1- Get a piece of 70% alcohol pad(can buy from pharmacy) of if you got an Isophropyl Alcohol(IPA) is quiet good. Turn off your phone, use the swab/cotton of the alcohol pad and clean up inside the charging port pin using something tiny to handle the cotton. 2- Go through Razer Specialist Centre for a replacement of the charging port)

Second, for the battery. How old your phone? Ok, so, Is it suddenly happen after realized the malfunction of the charging port? If yes, It might be the charging board affected your battery. If no, It might be your Battery Health was already reduced, related to wear and tear/battery lifetime/charging cycle. (SOLUTION: 1- If the charging port causing the issue, get a replacement. 2- If it were caused by the battery lifetime, get a replacement)
