Problem on Kraken with 7.1 surround sound

I bought some Razer Krakens. In the box there was a note that showed the activation code for the 7.1 Surround Sound to scratch. I scratched it but some of the letters are incomprehensible and I wasn't able to activate the 7.1 Surround Sound. I went to the Razer website and applied for a new code by entering the serial code and I was told that "Your Razer device is not eligible to receive a 7.1 Surround Sound activation code. Please refer to 7.1 Surround Sound System For Gaming Headset for eligible products." How can I solve it???
