Problem with razer naga numpad/numlock function

Heya! So up until this point I've had my razer naga x buttons linked to num1-9, as well as "del" and "enter" - and I could use the numpad for numbers, while the mouse used the "numlock off" functions. Recently this suddenly no longer worked, and no matter what I do the mouse now simply works as my numpad - changing function every time I lock/unlock numpad. It seems to totally ignore the settings in razer synapse and only changes functions when I use numlock. My mouse doesn't have a physical button for changing numlock functions, so that's not the problem. In Razer Synapse I've made sure the mouse buttons are actually bound to num1-9. I'm also sure I'm using the right profile as I only have one. I've also tried to run razer synapse as admin. I've tried turning the computer on/off and tried unplugging and replugging the naga - and tried a different USB port. Razer synapse is up to date. Appreciate any ideas or suggestions.
