Query about 7.1 Surround Sound Activation Code License Transfer - BlackShark V2 X

Dear Razer Support Team,

I recently purchased a Razer BlackShark V2 X headset, which includes the 7.1 Surround Sound feature. I successfully registered my product using the serial number and received the activation code via email, which I then activated through Razer Synapse on my current Windows PC.

My question is regarding the transferability of this unique 7.1 Surround Sound activation code/license. If I format my current PC, install a new version of Windows, or switch to a different computer, will I be able to reactivate and use the 7.1 Surround Sound feature on the new system?

Could you please clarify the process for transferring or reactivating this license under such circumstances? Is the license tied to my Razer ID, or is it linked to a specific hardware configuration?

Thank you so much for sharing your concern here about your Razer Blackshark V2 X. You don't have to worry about your 7.1 Surround Sound feature. It will still be associated with your account even if you install a new version of Windows, or switch to a different computer. As long as you use the same Razer account that you used to activate your 7.1 Surround Sound code, you only need to log in to your Razer account on the new system, and you should be able to use your 7.1 Surround Sound feature.
