Razer 1 asking for password after Pie update

Hi all! I've got a 1st gen Razer phone which I updated to Pie this morning. On restarting its asking for a password - I've never set a startup password! I bought the phone a few months back secondhand from CEX (sell used gadgets, big chain of shops in UK) so wondering if its a previous owners password. Is there any way to remove this password? Love the phone but it's sadly useless at the moment.

    Disregard. Just tried restarting the phone, and after a longer than usual boot it didn't ask for any password! Very odd but relieved its sorted itself.
