I just noticed while I was in a meeting doing a presentation on battery, that the HDMI hogs a LOT of power. Using BatteryBar: Without HDMI: 24W Plugged into HDMI: 36W I was looking for general information online about the power requirements for HDMI, but I have not found any relative information. Is this typical? My previous Razer did not appear to have this problem.

    I was hoping someone could help me with this situation. It is almost impossible for me to run a meeting without needing to bring a power adapter with me. The fact that this laptop cannot run for 2 hours on battery with optimus set and no background apps running, and the only thing is that it is changed is that I plug into the HDMI to share my display, makes this a very non-functional laptop.
