Razer 7.1 surround sound for the razer kraken tournament edition.

I've been having issues with my 7.1 surround sound and razer synapse. I downloaded synapse and the surround sound and used my activation key to activate the surround sound. I completely set up synapse and did everything it prompted me to do. I am now stuck at the point where it wants me to turn the surround sound on, when I go into the surround sound app it wants me to select 7.1 as my default playback device (so I do) and when I go to click on which device the 7.1 should go on it says I need to configure either device in the razer synapse but in synapse I can find no ways to configure them. Any and all help would be appreciated thank you in advance.
